So far so good! Yes she is cute achoo, lol. I do plan to do regular grooming and comb her daily or almost. It will be easy since I have the grooming set up for Paris already and a daily combing will take but a minute or two.
I can't bathe her for 2 weeks because of the spay but she just had a bath 2 weeks ago.
I see she needs a scratching post, will be putting that on her list!Comment

no no no no no no.
I was already asked if I'd foster one of the others. I'll see how this goes but with so many dogs I am probably far from a fitting kitteh foster setting.
So far so good with Paloma and my little dogs though. I have three small dogs in the bedroom with her and she wanders around not giving them a glance so that's a good first day.
The larger dogs will take a bit more time. Paris is beside herself excited but hasn't tried to make contact yet!Comment

Nooks, I think the dogs sense when they "the cats" belong there. Although, some big dogs will kill cats no matter what....but since your guys are used to your orange kitty I bet they will accept her with no problem. Only thing with them is they like to get in litter box. lol.Comment

Hey Schultz! Paloma is getting used to the dogs a few at a time. I've had her in my room with 3 Pins since Wednesday. She slept in my bed with me and 3 Pins on Thursday night and last night she was digging my computer chair and every time I opened my eyes she was watching me. That's good though. I think she's starting to like me back.
Paris spends every second of her time in the room with her nose in the closet, where Paloma sits on a suitcase and watches the goings on. She hangs out in the room but when Paris comes in she heads for the suitcase.
maybe she wants to go to Jamaica or something! Paris could easily stick her nose in Paloma's business but she doesn't! They are just in the sniffing stage but I thing/hope they will be fast friends. I kind of got Paloma for Paris as her heart gets broken regularly by Tango. Tango is a MinPin and Doberman cat. He likes Paris Ok and they hang out for a bit but he always leaves her and goes to lay with his Pins or Rosie. But Tango grew up with those kind of dogs so it's just the way it is.
The only problem so far is Tango. Tango is broken hearted in a big way. He hisses at Paloma like a mountain lion. Poor baby. I know he will get over it but when is a guess. Tango has been an only cat since I brought him home from rescue 14 and 1/2 years ago. Poor baby.
As far as snacks for the dogs? I'm on top of it!
Check this litter box. And Paloma is using it.

Keesha, maybe your P_om would love a Persian. My dogs LOVE cats. I think all Toy breeds do. Jamaica Miss, I know you would love her!
