Sadie does not belong to me but this afternoon she moved in with me for the summer. This is the absolute best of both worlds, as I get the joys of horse ownership without the expense. I get to take care of her and look at her and ride her...

Her other eye is a pretty blue. I'll have to get a pic of it later.
Sadie going for her first stroll through my pasture and checking out the fence line. Yesterday I tied rags all around so she would be able to see where it is.
She has beautiful Paint markings and flashy color so she is very easy to spot out there, forgive the pun...
She has been pretty much on the move since she came, checking out her new yard...
And her nose has been stuck to the ground for pretty much every second of her time so far. Not that she was starving, but this is grass that has been untouched for 2 years now.
And dang, wouldn't you know...it's been raining since about an hour after she came. I can't complain about the rain though, because we desperately need it. I sure can't have my well going dry or any of that sort of thing, so I will enjoy Sadie from inside today.
