my dogs them stay outside year round.....dem dog space is warm and dem is not pet guard dogs alert u wen dem critter dey bout the place am surrounded by bush/forest

My pets are the goldfish inna di tank and I swear am getting rid of dis blastid parakeet or whateva dem call dem..... blastid racket dem kickup.......wonder if dem good to mek good jerk chicken

If I ever had to get a dog pray - i would want a mini golden retriever (since is merka and with the weather etc, the dog haffi come inside, <span style="font-weight: bold">since I'm not planning to build a heated dog house in mi yard</span>)

I admire peeple dog from afar.....oh fido so cute doan want dem in my car....house...and nobody aint bringing their dog in my car or home.....dem heated space is there from the house build long fore me bawn.

....and no I dont hate animals....jus love dem from afar....I would not pet my dogs....they would prolly amputate my arm and I plan on geeting a black goldfish.....gwine name him KING

it's a fenced off space in the back with a high fence.....dog walking business big out here etc. etc.

I'm not able for all that. I wouldn't mind having guard dogs outside, but I'm not going to feed nothing I'm scared to touch. Me and the guard dogs would need a good understanding about who is in charge.

That's a good question even though the fence is tall. First of all, how can they attack if the fence is too tall for them to get over? Second, I've had some climbers who will take any fence not even chain link but wood complete with an electrical charge kit. Apollo in particular would take that little charge every night, yelp, and go out and play with his friends. He would come back the next morning and lay up on the front porch to be let in.

yeah growing up i had dogs that stayed outside and functioned as guard dogs. them loved the family though. One of them, a big rottweiller would take my whole hand in his mouth and playfully nibble it ..he was a sweet dog to the family..to others not so much.

I was raised during the time when everybody said Dobermans would turn on you. I no longer believe it's true, but the fear has been ingrained enough in me for them to probably never be a good choice for me.

Me and the ex used to live next door to a man with two. One was named Sheba and I forgot the other. All we had was a little short chain link fence between the yards that they could have easily stepped over if they wanted to. They barked and intimidated me, but I noted they were very obedient to him.

One of the dogs I was looking at as a compatible companion for Butterfly was a Miniature Pinscher which I understand is not related to the Doberman at all.

If i ever get another dog while I'm in the US it will be a pit mix adopted from a shelter.

If I am in Jamaica (God willing ) i will either take in a stray or adopt from Montego Bay animal haven or animal house. i would want a pit mix or good old mutt.
