I like greens with dark browns and I like the color of the walls as they are now and using colorful accents. I'd wait on the rugs till you get the art and nicknacs up, it will give you more of a feel for what you want; but then again, you already know what your art looks like so maybe you don't have to wait!

the insurance company sent me a CD with pics of my stuff so i can pick through what i want and have it shipped here

i bought her in jamaica - lovely from the front and the back



my grandmother - i usually have her picture in the dining area - she could stretch some food [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70409-waytogo.gif[/img]




bought this at the mall - had the artist - Henry Porter sign it - he lived in Atlanta and it wasn't signed - i've since seen it on ebay and i did good



a friend got this in South Africa for next to nothing - i've seen it for $60 or more here

this is one of my favorites - it is a Jamaican artist - name slips me right now - the one that did the Bob Marley statue that no one liked - his ex-wife lived in Atlanta and i think she got to sell this as part of her divorce

A nice rug with some reds beige brown and green would be nice, is there red in your nick nacs? Whatcha gonna do with the windows?

put a nice vase with flowers on the pub table or even a colorful bowl with some fruit. Or even some candles would look great on that table. Also as someone mentioned plants will ad to it. Some nice palms would look great with your type of furniture. Do you have a mirror you could hang? You have a great base just accessorize. You could do a sheer curtin that is green or with that green in it. Just some ideas.

i think it's perfect...need more accents with that red color...then you'll have things looking more alive.

Reminds me of one of my beads! I was in Pier One the other day and I couldn't believe that almost everything was DOT related! Fun fun I love dots!!!!
