flippin packrat!!!

If the first step in recovery is admitting it, then hopefully I'm on my way. MY god!!
It all started with the excitement of the new piece of furniture I was refinishing in the garage. Instead of just a couple of days, once I found out what I had, it ended up taking about a week and a half.
Meanwhile, I'm also rushing around trying to make a special spot for this beautiful 1890's buffet/sideboard for when it comes home which resulted in my whole house going topsy turvy. Oh, the week before that, I had started cleaning the bedrooms and closets and making a mess there. I guess fall cleaning is in full swing.
The summer clothes are in a big container on the deck on the way to the garage. I need a pickup truck for the rest of the stuff I've tossed out on there deck, the lawn tractor trailer ain't big enough.
What was I thinking!!! 3 years ago I built a brand spanking new 24 X 36 garage. It's just beautiful, nicer than my house even! So why oh why do I store things like Christmas decorations and everything you can think of in closets?
I think my garage is big enough to hold lots more stuff.
I'm sure glad I don't still work at the recycling center, I never came home without a truck or car load of stuff. Heck, I just re-did my whole house without buying anything but some zip strip!

Seriously, I'm getting down to brass tacks here. Everything I don't use regular is going to the garage. I bet half of the time I spend cleaning the house is just moving this stuff around that dosen't really have a place to live.
I have pack rats disease so bad my thread needed 2 forums and it accidently spilled over into a 3rd. (See my other directly related thread HERE)
Am I the only one here with packrat disease? The sideboard became a necessity, because why else; I neded a place to store things cause I hoard beads too!
