I had he same thing. Dry mouth/throat in the morning.
You can get one for about $30 to put in your bedroom. Mine works great. It keeps the humidity at around 40%, which is quite comfortable.Comment

i have one works great but as this is the furnace connected to downstairs it doesnt help us upstairs (we reconfigured some vents during the construction process). Am considering getting one for the other furnace.If you don't fight for what you deserve, you deserve what you get.

We have humidifiers on every floor. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70409-waytogo.gif[/img] Red can't stand to touch a door handle and get shocked from the static in the air. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img] I can't stand waking up in the morning so dry I feel like I was chewing a piece of chalk in my sleep.
We looked into one for the furnace but decided against it since we would really only need it a few months out of the year.
We use Slantfin warm mist humidifiers. SlantFin models use UV light to help kill bacteria and particles in the water so it they aren't dispensed into the room.
Warm mist humidifiers need to be cleaned with vinegar and water occasionally as sediment builds up on the heating unit, but they actually make the house warmer by a degree or two and are very soothing.
