as far as the hosta's, i'd split them now. i'd remove that solid colored one entirely, as it will soon be taken over by the others anyway. with the others, just try one of the bigger ones. lift the whole plant out of the soil and then take your shovel and split it in half. replant one half and pot up pieces of the other half. keep the potted ones in the shade and water well til you're ready to move. you can probably get a couple plants out of that one solid colored one as well.
i've got some out back i plan to dig, split and place in other spots around my yard. </div></div>

That solid color one in the back? That's a hosta? I wasn't sure, I thought it might be a weed. I figured I'd let it grow out a little more to see what shape it took.
