hardwood floors

I cant fe de life of me understand why peoople would even like dem..
To me, dem is just sinting that was in style years ago, (nuff apt buildings inna brooklyn hab dem and fe years me had to grin and bear dem.. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad2.gif[/img]) and now dem back inna style..
Personally, I stand steadfast,and refuse to do my home inna hardwood..and notice, I just redid 3 floors inna de house, and a marble and ceramic me use - and dat never cheep..
no offense to anyone, but do, tell me what is the real attraction ? Cause I really cant understand why people like de ood.. .... [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70390-shhh.gif[/img]

For me...it has a warmer feel than tile or ceramic. Tile and Ceramic would be great in a warm climate. Up here in the North...I like my hardwood.
