i've grown rhubarb for the last 4 years cause it is a hardy plant around here. No matter how bad the winter it wont die off [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img]

on its own rhubarb is slightly bitter/tangy tasting.

so after u chop it up, u boil it down with some sugar and a splash of lemon juice. i make a quick compote doing that and i add a cinnamon stick while it is boiling and then some vanilla extract at the end.

it taste nice with ice cream or with a nice pound cake.

i'll check to see what recipes i have saved. I usually just wing it with the stuff but i am sure i have some stuff written down. give me a couple of days to post them for u.

i should have a nice chutney recipe that works well with meat dishes.

yes I been reading about them. All kinds of ingredients.
Some even use human yearn [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/shocked.gif[/img] But you can even steep grass clippings and leaves. interesting.
Weve been moving hostas and shade plants to accomadate a new deck [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img] love the ache from workin the ground.

called Metchun or sinting likka dat, but dem noh germinate yet..

soak a string in Lemon grass oil and stake string around lettus.
cats cant tolerate it.

doing container lettus this time round.
