alright then explain to me the difference between having one big sink AND a prep sink [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70402-thinking.gif[/img] isnt that just a double sink with a bigger divider between them? [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif[/img]

i like double sinks cause u can wash in one a store dirty dishes in the other so u dont use counter space to hold them as they get washed.

mi have dishwasher and it run at least once per day thanks to the amount a people whe live wid me so de dirty dishes go into the energy efficient dishwasher and sterilizes them due to the high heat the dishwasher generates. I tend to clear the dishwasher in the am and run it at night.

so my sink is generally clear until it is time to wash the pots or someone leaves the pots (as it seem like is only me one can wash pot here widout making an announcement about it [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/rolleyes.gif[/img])
a prep sink is usually on a kitchen island and is used for washing veggies & small things.

i use the dishwasher too for daily plates, etc. but i still like the doubles cause i can keep the dirty pots in one and wash in the other.

I don't have a double sink and I really miss it..at some point waaaaay out in the future when I update this kitchen..that's on my must-haves..I don't have anywhere convenient to wash mop heads and the like

I just got rid of my swifter..it wasn't really ideal for either of the 2 types of flooring in this apt. I use those microfibre pads...darn things need constant rinsing

..no laundry room in the apt..hence my yearnings for a double sink [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img]

now the dishwasher with the dual drawers. me like the concept cus me girlfriend have one n me see it first hand.
Only thing me wonder, is how dis concept actually save u water, if u run only one drawer at a time..
if u run two drawers, noh de same wata u a use??
