what a great time of year in the garden! though the daffodils have passed and soon will the tulips as well....there's lots still to look forward to in an everchanging perennial garden.

my yard is alive...with birds and blooms.

care to see?

we'll start with a couple weeks ago...and work towards now. some of these i already posted while runnin my mout...scuse the repeats.

we have a little farm pond on the property...we had it dug a little bigger a couple weeks ago. since then, my hubby has caught a some trout and brought them home in his own stocking program.

kinda fun to dig a few worms and feed the fish...this is as close as we're gonna get to a koi pond up here.

Love the hummingbird. I have seen only one so far this year..
I have two feeders, but only thing that feeds on them is the bees...[img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif[/img]

so that was about a couple weeks ago....the next batch will be from this weekend.

had my annual gahden pahty...did the Bremen Plant Sale, then we hit a great local greenhouse and bought all our annuals. i had a great day planting my containers on sunday....that's JOY to me. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/bannana_purple.gif[/img]

i bought some of that nectar last year...and found they didn't seem to want it.

i switched back to good ol sugar water. i mix it 4 parts water to 1 sugar.
