to make a shrug, juss knit n purl

fi di length of u back plus fi u two arms...dem fold and sew a seam from wrist to ur armpit, leff di area fi u back open, and sew anodda seam from di odda armpit to u wrist...

that is the easiest way for a shrug...depending on the needle and type of yarn used, u dont need to cast on more than 30 stitches...

I learn stuff like this visually, so I have to see it in action for my head to get it.

I will attempt something small like how Vegas did start out cause I love knit things obviously, and I guess it makes sense to at least try.

if u send it now i can..am travelling early February fi a week...i will knit up a shrug an sen fi u..so u can see how easy it is...the way i tell u takes a couple hrs at the most...

just spent $65 on knitting needles and some yarn...this is an expensive hobby. Is how Evan keep it up
i bought 3 circular needles and 3 regular ones....and mi still never get a 3.75 needle cho

I got 2 big balls of Acrylic yarn...a black and gray one dat mi go use fi mek a scarf fi mr man and a a next mix blend w/ pink and brown and wah look like dark green...dat mi ago mek a baby cacoon... i think. i also buy some dusty rose yarn it came in a pack dem a sell one pound fi 4 dalla...tonite i am starting some booties fi a guy at my work if dem no finish intime fi give him well mi can keep dem souvenirs.

mi find seh mi attention span no all dat good so as mi get tired fi look pan di same color doing the same stitch mi switch to a next ting. God help me dont knwo when mi ago actually have something worth while fi show seh &quot;here i made dis&quot;

y u tink mi stock up wen sales a gwane...n y u tink mi ship yarn from downsouth so come up yah...yeah man..a so di yarn ting go...n most of wat u buy at Michaels etc is acrylic..di real wool is off di chart...lucky ting seh wen mi sista was in SASK some of har patients gave her spun wool from dem farm...mi was kipping dem wile she was in di Miggle East n mi ship dem up yah ...mi wi use dem an dye dem afta mi mek di tings...

is an expensive hobby especially if u buying up here..i am shocked to see the cost of needles...u would tink dat Canada would be cheaper given oonoo cole wedda....

so wat kine a neegle u buy....i use bamboo fi some yarns...well really i switched to bamboo fi everyting couple years back

i bought two bamboos and di ress is metal i tink.
i have two questions

1. the metal needles that do not come wid the red ting (and circular needles as well) do no have the size marked on them only on the package...how mi fi know which is which once mi dash weh di package?


2. this may seem like a silly question...but i am doing somethiong and it says place a marker on the last stitch...what do u generally use? pin or mi need fi mek a mark wid talylor's chalk etc?

u need to buy one of the needle guides...it ha di size needle written pon it plus some holes so u can push di neegle dem tru fi ascertain di size...it also serves to tell u di diffrant country rating of said sizes...it cost less dan $5...it look like a 6&quot; ruler wid various size holes wid writing telling u di size in US, Metric etc

u can use a pin r tie a shawt piece of yarn r buy the markers ..dem is circular ting wid a likkle piece sticking off like a comma..u put dem in place , seh fi instance if u join the yarn to mek a circle ...dat way u know wen u starting a new row...dem usually come in a likkle plastic container and again cost unda $5

dem also come in various sizes depending on the type of yarn u using..u mite wan to invest in a row counter also and some caps to put on the points of ur needles so wen u not working the project, the stitches dont slip off the needles
