JaJewel ... I had 'googled' some orchid farm located around the Mandeville area ... the exact location escapes me now tho.

I would LOVE to visit an agriculture show like you described - one day ... it is years till I can live there - so I have to have my collection here till I can start one there.

Mr. Big Man is really good with plants - I hope he does not try to "ix-nay" my orchid allowance ... cuz then we WOULD have sumthing to fight about!! while I enjoy the wild ones ... I am gonna want some specialty ones as well ~

when I was growing up I used to get wild orchid's and grow them at home. the first time I did it everyone (mi madda) said how hard they are to grow and tek care of an that mi soon kill it off.

this was when country schools taught agriculture as part of biology all now how much years later nuff nuff orchids growing still at my parents house.

wonder if mi could still do it

actually - the blame really belongs to Loopsie ... cuz she started it!!

no new one for me this weekend ... did not really get out of the house - feeling too poorly ~

just stayed in and cared for the ones I have ~ enjoyed them nuff!

that is awesome!! I am really enjoying them ... my Bwoy Child had to care for them while I was gone ... he was careful ~ and did a nice job.
