leak bad. i feel poor. am momentarily paralyzed by the outrageousness of it all - me, with a leaky roof!!!!

but i guess will look for a roofer while keeping an eye on the weather.

what unus look for in a roofer?

I feel your pain MGee

I'm going thru the same thing and just decided to replace the whole roof, they should start sometime next week because leaking roof is no joke.

Make sure to get recommendations and see the work yourself
See if you can talk to the homeowners who had their roof worked on by roofer.

Better Business Bureau rating (me know a Canada yuh deh)
References (if possible)
Check out the physical location of the office - See if at least look presentable

Hush!! mi have a few quotes just gotten in the last 2 weeks.from roofers ...all come highly recommended ... I live in the Durham area ... can give yu dem names if yu want ... an yu canmek di decision.. where I live home are 22 yrs old so we all have been reroofing over the last 4 -5 yrs .. suh there were lots of referred roofers from my neighbours .. memba seh dis is dem BUSY time .. like mi seh if yu want 2 names i can give them to you

MGee how you roof?

Well they started work on mine yesterday and good golly what a mess up there. I've so much rot, a mean rafters and all.

Some areas has 4 layers of material I brought 10 sheets of ply wood and only 4 left and is only 1/4 of the roof them strip yesterday.

In all I'm very please with how they're working and him call mi up every minute and show me.

Anyways, hope it work out for you!

hi, ms exced. my thoughtful stepdad went up on the roof with some tar, shingles and a piece a metal and worked some magic. ((((stepfather)))) no leaks since then. but he said it will probably hold only for a few years. his initial inspection found some holes where the two roofs met (i have a backsplit), he said maybe some animals were trying to get in.
