So the remodeling is 99.9 % done The punch list is being finalized and then I give the contractor the final payment

Here is the new back of the house. That's me setting the patio table for a dinner party last Saturday evening. It was a nice group of close friends and we spent hours outside into the night with cheap wine and good conversation.

Those pergolas were the selling point for me - they are fitted with outdoor all-weather electric fans and lights. French doors now lead from the kitchen and master bedroom on to the patio.



This was the patio before in 2007 when I just had the new patio put in:

I have been so busy/lazy/pre-occupied to take proper photos but the good news is that the designer/contractor will be taking photos to post on her website

Yes, Gen. I had a master bath configured for the master bedroom. I also had french doors put in to open on to the patio. I just took this photo from one angle of my bedroom. The bathroom door is frosted glass
