You guys are always supportive and it is so much appreciated.

I'm still nervous and jumping at every little sound---very snappy all day with a major headache.

Locked in the house all day and had no desire to even go out for my run. I'm now looking back at those many moments when a total stranger would say "I see you all time running" This will no longer make me smile. I just have this feeling that I am being watched and someone is out there in the dark waiting for their next moment. Just not a good feel for me and seriously panicking.

It's talking on here and with my sisters that gives me some encouragement that the person will be caught.

I am speechless. I am so glad you and Hubby are relatively unharmed though all this. Still, I cannot imagine the terror you must have been living. I felt it too, reading your words. I hope they can catch these thugs and recover of your property, and there are probably others from the sounds of things. What a thing...stay safe.

Hush. You need some time to unwind and get your nerves back. Right now you too nervous to function properly. And being in the house while you try to center yourself might not be the best way to do it.

I don't think I am a screamer either so I probably would have jumped off the bed and knocked myself in the head on the nightstand leaving me even more vulnerable. Her response to every part of it including the man creeping up on her when she was outside was outstanding. I only hope I could have the same presence of mind if caught in similar situations.

It's going to take some time, but you'll be OK SandiF. Everybody watching you run is not the enemy but still be cautious. Those men who broke in are just weak scum and will be caught especially with your and your husband's help of their descrptions.

OMG Sandif ... This sounds scary. I have been there but not as half traumatic as this. My laptop was stolen and the only thing that kept the intruder from coming up to my bedroom was the fact that the TV was on. I think they/he expected no one to be at home (it was Mid-day during the work week)

I'm truly sorry to hear this and I can so relate to being afraid of your own home. I was a wreck weeks and months after the incident. To this day I do not keep any valuables downstairs anymore. My laptop stays right on my side table in the bedroom You never get over something like that. It is truly a violating experience. Glad you are Ok
