complement with 2062-60 blue hydrangea or 2125-70 Wedding veil

The furniture & zebra stuff staying.

She has a picture of a pink flower on a white background with a black frame above the pillows

Also planning to hang the curtains to the ceiling

Thanks PZ.. We have been meaning to paint since summer and mrKia decide seh is this weekend he is painting so here we go!

paint the walls the color she wants,

after that -take a step back and see if the zebra and/or pink accents are too much, and then edit/change accordingly.

not feeling that shade of blue with pink/zebra

so the accent colors can come in from:

curtain
duvet
storage boxes
pillows/shams
bedside rug
bedside lamp

try to balance out the pink/white/zebra accents so that one color wont slap yuh in yuh face when yuh walk in the room

the bed shelf can do with some other colors too like white here and there since it is black

yes the plan was to paint from when we added the zebra stuff but we never got to it

I like your idea of white curtains though

in addition to the wall unit around her bed, she has a black desk and a black chest of drawers

Other options she has expressed is decals with all four walls pink.. I could work with that.. heading to the ben moore paint store for the paint and they may have the decals there too otherwise Lowes may have it

very nice I think that was one of the rooms that I had gotten inspiration from to go for zebra..

I think I may give her the all pink and then add the white curtains and turn the zebra curtains into throw pillows

She likes hot pink but she wont wear skirts..

Where we are so far..
Ceiling completed and 1st coat on walls done..

Tomorrow - second coat , trim &amp; hang curtains..

Of course mi did listen to the guy at the paint store so now have 1 gallon extra

We starting to put stuff back in the room now.



I am liking the idea of the white curtains- thanks gen and converting the existing zebra curtains that will be too short to hang ceiling to floor into a duvet

ok the color looks nice

yeah you need something to break up all the pink wall/pink bedding

the curtains will look nice, you can even do them wider than the window box/blinds as long as you dont need the wall space.

she need some satin pillowcase
