Rich mi noh start put back the stuff yet man but I do have boxes that she can put them in.. The posters.. we are working on now.

Getting rid of surface clutter:

Richard if she has a big closet, you can put the dresser or chest of drawers in there which will free up floor space

If its a walk in closest you can build it out ie. install shelves and so on inside

You can also use storage boxes in the closet and tell her that most of her stuff has to be stored in there

You can also use underbed storage boxes

Also use wall shelves with storage boxes if you have limited floor space

you can also run a shelf around the entire room 12-14 inches from the ceiling for trophies etc

you can hang/use a magnetic board on one wall (poster size) for notes, pictures etc

i raised the bed so nuff storge space under the bed now


but the problem is everything i touch..."no leave that"..."that is special"

she have all kinda ting stick up on the wall dat she don't want to take down.

ok then mek a deal with her. if she wants to keep it, it haffi guh up in a box (acid free to preserve) in the attic, basement or garage,

but it can't stay inna the room like that

when you finish paint, before you bring back een the stuff let her sort into piles

garage/bedroom

out of mind out of sight, she might eventually get rid of them after she nuh see them for 2 years

or the <span style="font-weight: bold">memo board </span>is softer and can hang pictures

yes tell her that only the super super special things can stay in the room (limited amount) and the rest will have to guh storage and if she wants she can rotate out the stuff twice a year which I doubt she will do
