Gardeners weh unno deh

Inspired by MGee here's a section of my tiny front patio. Starting from right and then counter-clockwise:

Japanese painted fern
Fuchsia (Bleeding Heart, pink, blooms early Spring)
Sedge
Hellebore (evergreen, deer-resistant, blooms in Winter!)
Stachys Hummelo (lavender spikes)
weed
more sedge
Variegated euonymus in planter

Back to vegetable gardening. With all the rain we've been having, the tomatoes, eggplant, and squash have been growing like dem mad! This was the garden today after I cleaned out some tomato and squash leaves \0/



A month ago it was like this:

Already reaped and enjoyed some Japanese eggplant and calalloo from the garden this weekend The tomatoes are coming in nicely



and the patty pan squash looks promising

Di bug dem stawt pan mi callaloo Took this today so you can see I already cut some for my Sunday breakfast yesterday. These two plants sprung up from the ground from what Kia sent me last year (or was it the year before ) The seeds that Pepper sent are sprouting and di rabbit dem having pawty in dere . My little dog Monty is outside a lot and will bark and chase the rabbits. Dog can't get in the garden because of fence and rabbit doan have a drap a sense.

diatenacious earth is good for scaring off the bugs from your callaloo plant. It is non toxic

We have the striped beetles trying to have their way with our callaloo
