My mother, bless her soul, had really good conversations with me about men and relationships. Of course, I picked up a few things by watching her relationship.

She always told me never to hit a man unless I was prepared to get hit back. She is not a violent person (thank God) she will reason you to death.

She taught me quite a few things, however, everything she said I did not take to heart (youth).

I am alot like her in dealing with relationships and alot different from her.
