that's rough;

i always say regardless of what, this person made it possible to live on earth by providing the seed;
unless they tried to physically kill you i can't imagine not talking to a parent for any reason at all;
even if i'm holding feelings this person basically created you;

but i suppose in some cases like sexual abuse or certain things i can see why a person would go that route...so i won't judge;
i just thank god i have both parents &amp; can talk to either one any time i want

i'll be honest...a lot of things i see people calling 'emotional abuse' these days look like a walk in the park to me compared to the way i used to see some yutes treated back in j-a;
i think children are generally more spoiled now than ever before...
in my opinion a lot of people who don't talk to their parent are just spoiled brats who are upset because a thing or two didn't go the way they like so they hold it againt their parent while ignoring the good things that their parent did for them in life;
not speaking of anyone here, just from my own experience in life...
i know a couple of people who maliced their parents &amp; the reasons were pretty ridiculous

Well Jah Yout I am most certainly NOT a spoilt brat. And the problem with my father stems much further from me than I would like to divulge here. Let's just say he has hurt alot of people in his life, quite often the ones closest to him. And to this day he is still doing it. So I find it hard to foster a relationship with a man who is like that to his own, yet kind and gentle to everyone else on the street.
