Re: Why white people should not adopt black children
from ceabee's link and to my point. Nothing personal here according to the topic starters a<span style="font-style: italic">ss</span>umptions. I know I scare people when I express my opinions on here
<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">Have you seen Thandie Newton's daughters' hair, as well as the Ethiopian model, Liya Kibede's daughter's hair?
Before you start criticizing Angelina Jolie for what you PRESUME she is NOT doing, take a look at the daughters of those two ladies I have mentioned. Liya's daughter's hair looks just like Zahara's hair. And Thandie's daughter's hair, looks very close to Zahara's hair and their hair is beautiful in its simplicity and natural condition. But, of course, based on what YOU have written here, YOU would not agree. You have already told us, in this article, that YOUR eyes are INCAPABLE of seeing the beauty of "black hair" in its natural state!
So - to continue, in the above case, I must ask you - <span style="font-weight: bold">WHY aren't you criticizing those black women as well for what YOU would consider neglect of their daughter's hair? Why is your criticism reserved only for Ms. Jolie? </span>And I am NOT suggesting those women should be criticized, just as I am taking umbrage with your liberal yet baseless and biased criticism of Angelina; I am merely questioning your motive/s for your TIRADE against Angelina.
Angelina has said previously Zahara will take her hair out after it has been styled. <span style="font-weight: bold">Apparently Zahara likes to have her hair free of any hair ornaments or restrictions. She is <span style="color: #CC0000">four years old</span> and her parents are allowing her to exercise her OWN FREE WILL! </span> They are not placing unreasonable demands on her about her hair at this young age and they are NOT instilling in her, as your mother obviously instilled in YOU, a negative, unhealthy, and debilitating life-long complex about her hair! - I am very thankful for that!
<span style="font-weight: bold">Allowing a little black child's hair to be free and loose is NOT A CRIME against black humanity! </span>Her hair does NOT have to be greased down and tied down in braids or any other stringent, restricting style to be considered - "looking good and healthy and un-damaged!"</div></div>
Let hair be free
