He does not come in every night, and I think Kia's reward method is a great idea!

I did lock my door one night only to wake up in the morning and find the boy curled up on the floor outside my door with no blanket or pillow.

He has said he had a nightmare something happen to me

As it stand right now I just walk the boy back to his room, tell him that I love him, but he is a big boy and he has his own bed.

One morning he says &quot;why you kick me out?&quot;
I say cause you are a big boy Imanni, you need to sleep in your own bed!
Hear him: &quot;But you just kick me&quot;

yeah sumpn like that but our issue is that she wont go to sleep but once she is asleep it is all good :whew:

Seveen .. she has not really said anything to me about nightmares etc.. she just told me she doesn't want to be alone..

den like mi sey shi had company fi her sleepover and she still came to my bed ..so mi a figga sey dat was more excuse dan anyting ..shi maybe getting too comfy in my bed and I need to curb her expectations that this is open season soon and very soon

I used to wake up in the middle of the night and go get into bed between my parents. (I know they must have loved that.) I would sleep with my head at the foot of the bed. The way I felt at the time of heading over was that I was afraid to be in my room by myself, it was too dark, and I felt comfortable falling back asleep near them.

I know this is about to sound like the worst advice ever, but the thing that stopped it for me was the tv. Yeah, that's right, the idiot box, the boob tube. When I would wake up, I'd turn on the tv. It gave a little light in the room and before I knew it, I was back asleep.
