I am sure you will all raise yours the way you choose and nothing anyone will say will change that. I am just speaking about what I did when mine was in school. It worked for us, and she is still in one piece having never had a cell phone while in elementary, middle school, OR high school.

I mananged to raise a girl who was an honor student, who graduated from college with a degree, lives in a foreign country, is productive and calls home to ask for nothing....but what do I know... you young mothers just have at it. I seldom visit this forum anyway....bowing out now.

my only objection is that not everything will work for everyone. ah tink presenting your point of view and leffing it there is enuf. people situation vary, times diffrant, cities diffrant, circumstances not like even 5 years ago.

i say to each dem own. personally i wuda gi dem a cell and monitor it closely - some features can shet off if considered dangerous.
