Honestly, up here in Canada they have a thing called the young offenders act. Even if the perps are caught and convicted if they are under 18 years of age they will not even get a slap on the wrist.

Oh my goodness! What a horrible thing to do to somebody. But look at youth resiliency for real. A couple of weeks later and he's looking dapper and you can't visually tell anything happened at all.
