wendy dis is all a money mekking ting
cause she haffi store are records fe 20 years and she mussi get charged less by storing thme with a comapny and then the patient will have to pay to get them.

The company dont even have them ready as yet as they told me they wont be ready til the end of the month and thats when I iwll kno how much it will cost to get them.

Some Doctors will ONLY turn over medical files to another Medical Professional.

Can you imagine if she had a very large practice, how much it would have cost her to copy all the records, because she cannot pass on the original files to the patients.

Sometimes its a matter of knowing your clientale and how much they can pay to get the records.

I know they are not mine technically but she was the one who said we can call teh storage place to get them.

I remember one time when I was changin doctors all I had to do was go to the old doctor sign a release form and the handed them over to the new doctor.

That option was probably in the letter they &quot;said&quot; they sent, because that is what is normally done.. sign a release and the records go to the current doctor.

I don't understand them not doing a &quot;second letter&quot; especially for someone that has been a patient for a long time.. or simply a courtesy call... ESPECIALLY a Baby Doctor..

the option was not in the letter as I have spoken to another doctor who is a friend of mine and her children were that doctor's patients
