MG2S, it took me a few days but I read the entire thread. Thanks for sharing your story which has been a blessing in ways you can't begin to know. It was wonderful to read how your Jamaicans.com family have supported you on this journey over the years. You are a great mommy whom God chose for his beautiful Kimmy.

It tell you when I got to the part where the agency super called you at work and said they were not babysitters, I felt like driving over there myself so I know you were hot. She gone wait until you get to the homestretch to come with this mess?

Thanks so much Tulip. It was a long hard road but worth every minute of it. I was so determined not to give up and thank God I did. I had a lot of support and especially on here. I could come to this thread and vent and the Ladies always encouraged me so well. Then the support of family, Church friends and co-workers. I'd do it all over again! I am glad you read and enjoyed the story. There were so many times when I wanted to go straight off on people but they were the ones who held the &quot;pen&quot; and I did not want to mess anything up. People can be vindictive. But they understood it was the Lioness trying to protect her Cub. And that I did. By the grace of God, we did it!!!

Thanks a lot! I am glad you read and enjoyed the thread. I go back and read it every now and then and marvel at how far we've come. If it did not happen to me, I probably would not believe a person went through so much. I do appreciate the Jamaicans.com family we have on here.

I have all but the last few pages printed. She will see all of it although I have to make sure she's really old enough to understand what we went through. I don't know if I want her to read too much of the negative stuff that went on. Like with Birth Mom and all.

Now having said all that and what not, so, when can me and Kimmy be ready to leave for Spring Break with ya'll in Jamaica??

are you coming down - come on - you and Kimmy - we would love it

every one has to tell the adoption experience when they feel comfortable

abu has always known - read books to him when he was an infant and couldn't understand it

but ultimately - i think it was good for him to always know - didn't have to have one of those big sit down talks (remember your mom telling you about the birds and the bees)
- just had to fill in more &quot;gaps&quot; as he got/gets older -

and even with all the sacrifices, love and care - i have still heard &quot;i hate you&quot; and i'm able to laugh it off and remember telling my folks the same thing and not associate it with his being adopted

plus i always wanted him to hear it from me first - especially with so many others knowing - didn't want him to be in the situation of having some one say &quot; oh that's the boy seveen adopted&quot; and then having to explain it in a crisis -

i am committed to him meeting his birth parents - if he wants - i will even help - he may need them at some point - health history - etc

plus he knows i wanted him and that he grew in my heart not my belly
