Thanks everybody. I am weary and tired. I have not had to fight so many battles before in my life. I am fighting Attorneys about prolonging my car accident settlement since 9/5/06 and here I go having to battle something else.

That was good advice! I had decided to make sure all of this is documented from the start. All phone calls and conversations. And then it does need to be in writing to the person I raised the complaint to because this will not be pushed under the rug. I intend to see that she is dealt with more than a 1 hour convo. Hear the Lady, "Ms. Goody, she sat in my office and we talked for 1 hour. NOBODY stays in my office for 1 hour". Whoopie Doo! But she walked out with a pat on the wrist. I am sorry but that is not good enough. I am going to call the BAR and let them know and see what legal ramifications I have because when the day is over, I have to deal with a disgruntled and angry bio mom and I am not having it nor am I going away quietly.

I talked to the Lady yesterday and she claims she is 100% sure bio mom is not going to contact us again because she spoke to her Guardian. This lady had the gall to mention that I am the one who told little miss that I considered letting her see Kimmy and that I tried to get her Grandma's phone number. Ole lyiad! I told her that I mentioned that to the child's child advocate during the TPR but that depended on me and how circumstances were going. This was something in the far future. And I asked while I was fostering, if her Great Grandma could see her since she was the only one showing concern and they told me no.

I also told her that I don't know who to look for since I don't know what she or her relatives look like. This Attorney put me at a disadvantage by showing her my name. Now she knows where I live and can be in my face and I would not know. Then she tells me that she cannot put a restraining order out against her because she is their client. "I" would have to do it. I started to ask are you going to give me her address to do so?? She only has a business address for the Guardian. So I plan to go to the Juvenile court to see if I can get a restraining order out simply by the information that they have from her. I don't know how since those orders have your address on it as well. She probably knows it anyhow.

It is just so amazing that through all of this, she is trying to guarantee me that I have nothing to worry about from a teen that she has never seen and knows nothing about, simply because she talked to her Guardian on the phone and she promised her this and that. I told her that I cannot accept that as concrete because I don't know these people and neither does she. So she cannot speak for them. I am not going around being paranoid about the issue but I am going to be careful when I am out and about. Kimmy is not the type that strays away from me so that is not a problem. I have a child hand holder that I may have to pull out if we go to crowded places. People give angry stares like they are dog leashes, but with the amount of children kidnapped each year, I'd rather deal with an angry glare than an Amber Alert! Yeah, but what to do? I told this Lady that it is not like the girl is going to pose for her to take a picture for her to give me to know who to look out for. This is a child who has hidden from the courts/state for 30 months and no one knows what she looks like in that time. Even DFCS workers would not know since she has been pregnant twice more and given birth to another child. She was small then so one told me but she may have put on weight in all that time. Teens change a whole lot in 2-3 years.

I just may have to take a day off and go to the courts and talk to somebody to see what my options are. I can't file a restraining order against someone that I have no idea where they can be served on it. I will wait about a month to see what they decide to do with Ms. Attorney and make my decision concerning her then. I will probably end up sending a letter to the Bar. I am not paranoid or scared out of my wits. I just don't feel like I have to always be cautious of any female that stops to compliment or talk to my baby because of her. I don't want to always wonder "Is that her?" She could be in my front yard and I would not know. At the park. Anywhere. I have no idea where these people live. I don't live in the County that Kimmy came from but she may not either. She could be in my County. I-DON'T-KNOW. And that's the whole problem. Not knowing.

This is odd for me to say, but I don't even know how to pray on this. I never imagined we would be facing this after all we went thru. This is our time to shine, rejoice and be glad for what God has done for us and now this. I am preparing an Adoption Celebration that will be an open event. I had already planned to have everybody RSVP so as not to prepare for too many people who can't make it. Now I will need someone at the door who knows most everyone that I know, to make sure only the people who responded or familiar faces are allowed in the place. I will monitor my phones and see if the pattern starts again. In the meantime, I am praying for an answer concerning what to do about Ms. Attorney. can you get an anonymous call rejection service on yoru phone also you can answer the phone and dial *57 that will trace the call after an excessive amount go to the police and inform them that you have been tracing the calls, once they dump the records on your phone you can get a restraining order

The same ones claiming that she's not a threat doesn't know crap. Some many nuts out here that would do anything to harm you it's very scary indeed. I told you my cousin's case she has had the child from day one until she turned 1. They turned around and took the baby away and gave her to her drugged up father. He didn't have anything for the baby at all not even a bed, the judge told her that he could award my cousin to give him everything she had bought for the baby.


My cousin said she would burn every last thing of hers if she had to. She was just that mad, I tell you someone needs a good kick. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad2.gif[/img]

MK I wish I could do that but I have Privacy Director and that cancels out call tracing. I would have to take it off and I don't want to do that. When someone calls me from a blocked number this number will show in my caller ID 678-376-2000, along with PRIVACY DIRECTOR, so I know not to answer it. I know. I sit at my computer to compose one and go blank. I need to get it documented with the courts before it becomes stale news. I was away from my desk in meetings all day today but both of my cells showed that someone from the courts called me but did not leave a message. I am sure it was the Attorney's Boss because she is the only one there who knows both of my numbers. I only left 1 cell# with the Judge.

I am going to send a detailed letter to her stating all of the events of both days so that she can see that I have it all on record. I won't tell her what the right hand is doing though. She will find out in due time because I am sure someone from the Bar will contact her as well as the Attorney.

Boopie, I'm still mad about that one! I can't believe the courts could be so ludicrous. Any parent will do in their minds, just send them back home. I don't even think they think about the best interest of the child. It's all about getting kids out of care and out of the state's treasury. That's not a bad idea, but not at the expense of risking the wellbeing of the child(ren). Sometimes family just isn't good enough. I'm sorry!
