you know i always thought u were supposed to rub something (vaseline etc) on baby's bum period. mi tink say a did the rub and the powder dat stop dem from chaff up etc. even the video mi get from the doc, the person rub baby bum and say fi rub it after each change.....but wah oonuh say mek sense.

ok u said bum enough times to convince me...use u vaseline/diaper ointment or cream, but someone wid girls tell me to be careful of that cornstarch/powder ting causing irritation in the girl diaper area.

mi never say mi was gonna use it. mi just saying that until i read the replies, i was under the impression dat u HAD to use some kinda creams/ ointment etc at each diapering. is read u cyan read or is a comprehension problem u have

i could count on one hand the few times mi see smaddy change diaper in real life and maybe at the time the person was using a rub hence why i have that notion in my head.

yuh get some good advice - mussi only 2 time mi can rememba Dan ah get nuh redness inna dat area... on day to day basis if nutten nuh wrong down there I just change - wipe well - mek sure the area dry and put on the diaper without any rub - I think I used to put powder in my hand an dust on the bottom.

the couple times mi si redness - mi use the desitin cream and it cleared it up very quickly... as most of the others have said - check and change regularly.
