the above is me right there would always admire little ones and hug and kiss them up (friends and family kids) as soon as I see that look on their face that poo coming.....hand them back to parents or if they start crying am outta there.

Always thought kids would curtail my life style and freedom and the partying nuff style

Good thing mrstormmey is so into kids...........says he always wanted to be a Daddy......well he will soon get nuff practice....cause I am tired already.....and Lord you know this childbirth labour thing is scaring the bejeezam outta me

guess this time December I will be up not because I come peek onto ja.com @ 6:00am but because baby bawling prolly crying non stop.....tearhoutmihair from now

I know a few ladies over 40 no kids. I never question why some people dont want children, However I often question why some people HAVE children!

u will be looking forward to childbirth betime the 9th month roll round. best thing to remember about childbirth - every pain has a purpose, and best to go with the flow and let your body do what it must, rather than fight it because of the pain.

Amen! What mi fine even more weird is wen mi fine out sey some peeple acktrually did decide fi procreate...even some inna dis jam.com community. No lie!

Until dem fine a way fi stop some peeple from adding to di gene pool, mi will forever be grateful to dose who have di God-given sense and sensitivity to decide on dem own NOT to dweet, for if it did tekk more dan juss fi kakk up, dis world wood not be so messed up.

As a teen I always said I didn't want children. I have two. My theory is that women fall for the line &quot;Have the baby, I love you, I'll help you&quot; - a lie! dem might love you, but very, very few of dem actually HELP you.

My two are now over 21, by the grace of God thank you Jesus! I was a single parent from them very young and it wasn't/isn't easy. I am blessed with a beautiful 16 month old granddaughter, but I will never be a &quot;daycare&quot; grandma. An hour or two a day is mostly all I can keep up with her.

Whatever your choice, you need to be comfortable with it.

Different individuals have different preferences -- even though *most* of society thinks the only 'normal' thing is to procreate, and scorn those who feel differently, or act like they not normal, or something is 'wrong' with them - i'm not of that opinion. Seems simple to me ... i find it to be just one of a vast array of differences among human beings - not everyone has the desire to be a parent.

to me it's really no different than the concept that *most* people love ice cream but some don't ... even though the majority does like it - that doesn't make those who <span style="font-style: italic">don't</span>, weird or abnormal - is just a different personal preference. :: shrug ::

i never really had a burning desire to have children, but nonetheless I always thought I would at some point. And then i got an illness which made it impossible - I had a moment of sadness about that, but in the end I realize it was just not meant to be for me, and I'm fine with it. Sometimes I feel that I have no business bringing a child into the world the way it is now anyway....

I do however, have a real problem with those types of people who scorn me for it, or try to make me feel like if yuh don't have children you're &quot;not a real woman&quot;. please. that's just Bee Ess. there's all kinds of real women; children are not the sole measurement for womanhood.....
