Tjah, honey, take it from a wise old (50) lady: This man is not worth anything. If he divorces his wife for you - he's worthless. If he doesn't divorce his wife and has led you on - he's worthless. He's just plain worthless.

Justice ministry to make divorce easier for Jamaicans

The Justice Ministry is attempting to make divorce easier for Jamaicans in an effort to help clear the backlog in the courts.

Justice Minister Delroy Chuck has proposed that the law be amended to allow for divorce applications to be heard by the Master in Chambers at the Supreme Court.

This would be followed be the granting of a decree by a Puisne Judge to officially end the marriage.

At present Puisne Judges have to conduct both phases in granting a divorce.

Chuck said a submission is to be made to the Cabinet, seeking its approval to effect the change.
