Oh boy, yes I still remember that smell and my boy is now 36 - had to wash his clothes by themselves with a little pine action - smelled like wasp especially after playing outside on a summer's day.

is not that dem just not washing the appropriate places but just a stand up eena the shower with the water running? (doing what me don't even want to think bout :block from mi mind

that's the only smell i notice from my oldest almost teenager. When him bade properly and put on deodorant the smell magically disappear

You will never really be satisfied as you will always find something you wish you had done differently or better. if you ask most parents, they are still trying to figure out what it means to be a good and effective parent. Remember, the little buggers didn't come into the workd with a manual! At the end of the day, you do the best you can and if you make mistakes, learn from them and be honest with the kid when you have messed up. If he is happy and there are more pros than there are cons, then you are doing good. From what you have indicated, you are doing wonderful. Keep the faith

*sigh* Twiney some days I wish I had a boy - I have 7 brothers and was a tomboy I think I would have better insight on how to manage them...

my sisters and I on the other hand were polar opposites... them ladylike and dainty and me just cutting up hell with the boys \o/

Now I have a teenage girl who it seems some days is from a different planet...

I will probably either be a crack ho or a raging alcoholic by the time her teenage years are over - I swear some days I really have to question deeply what I have done wrong... no man dem will mek yuh question yuhself deeply... and then some days is the worst day of them life and nuhbaddy nuh like them and you think to yourself &quot;Oh my GOd I have raised a socially inept child - what shall I do&quot;
then next minute this is the BEST day of her life and she is skyping with what seems lie her entire 7th grade class...

I have said before and I'll say it again - pikni born fe mad yuh.

mi just try take it one situation at time... deal with it the best way I think at that time and try not to second guess myself (virtually impossible)

I just pray every day that she will turn out to be happy and well adjusted (yes I have amended the superhero dreams i had for her )

From what I have seen Twiney you seem to be a very involved and caring Mom - that counts more than you think - as long as he;s not slaughtering animals and drawing pictures with psychopathic themes he will be fine

Lawd I guess all of s doubt our parenting abilities at some point...Twinz what everyone said above...you bring di boy up in di right path and him obviously faring well...dat is no accident but a result of your motherly love.

Jazz I feel yu pan dat...I have a 5 year old girl and sometimes mi feel like is a 15 year old. For right now I can tell her to push in her mouth before I push it in for her but how long will the response to my threats last?

And just yesterday my girlfriend was accusing me of being a wino cuz mi always have empty glass bout di place.
