The bigger one says to me "Mom I looked on my calendar for school and it says that we have a make up day in April so I am going to wear your make up to school."
"No, it means you have to make up for a day of school you lost because of the snow."
She looks me square in the face and says to me "I am STILL gonna wear your make up on make up day."

One highly intelligent, very polite, clean, well groomed (except for the hair), athletic (soccer and hockey mad) 22 year old university student. He works and earns part of his keep. He can cook, bake, do his own laundry, iron, and shop for groceries. He will do yard work shovel, snow and scrap snow off driveways.

Warning Label: The only cautions are that if left to his own devices and if you don't he will try to come in late. He wears hoodies and insists on wearing a Black one. He rarely cuts his hair, and is never clean shaven unless he does work for him. He will get rid of nothing.

Must be prepared to find room for 1 budgie, a bin of beanie babies, a bin of teddy bears...read on for more details.

During our move he was extremely helpful and had great suggestions for room layouts etc. but he freaked when he found out I had advertised to get rid of furniture. I asked him to go through his stuff and get rid of what he didn't need....he got rid of nothing. Kept all books, games, a bin of beanie babies, a bin of teddy bears, all videos and DVDs from childhood to present.

I now have a small filing cabinet I don't need sitting in my bedroom, a desk I don't need sitting in the living room, a huge desk and computer printer cart nobody needs sitting in his Dad's basement, yup, had to pay the movers to driver it all the way over there, and there is a HUGE filing cabinet that hasn't been looked at in 10 years that I will have to empty and get to his Dad's house.

He wants all this stuff for when he permanently has his own apartment after graduation.

At 22,having been raised in the church, my momwanted to give me curfew. I took that as sign to get my own place.

No, no no Vegas...he does not have a curfew now. I am talking about when he was a teenager. Still I want him to be reasonable and not come in all hours of the night or heaven forbid stay out overnight. It's a lifestyle thing and has nothing to do with age...that is what I told him.

When young men get in the habit of keeping indecent hours and staying out all night, it eventually wreaks havoc in their marriages. No decent woman is going to put up with that.
