poor thing. and my sister out law is name Shevelle (from car: Chevelle?) I know twins named Devin and Devon and mi still don't know which is which them is 8 now
. But it grew on us after a few days and now everyone loves it. It has a certain flow to it (especially with her last name). It doesn't even matter if it's traditionally a boy's name. Last month some TV celeb named her baby girl the same thing. Parents should name their kid what you want as long as it isn't anything that will humiliate the child or bring shame on them as adults. I think our European names suit us just fine.
