Hunting for Bourbon Cream

so order a case and ship it to one of them pick up places in niagara falls or buffalo then pick it up next time you there

no sah. mi fraid dem charge mi wid some drug running thru the mail or something like that. all like how mi black. a so dem ketch marcus garvey enuh.

i'll just have to find myself back in the right part of the states some time. content for now to use up all dem bokkle of bourbon experimenting with home made bourbon cream recipes.

this is my favourite bourbon cream

Bourbon Cream Liqueur
Makes about 4 cups


1 2/3 cups bourbon
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 c milk
2 T chocolate syrup
1/2 tsp instant espresso powder or 1 tsp instant coffee granules
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract

Mix all ingredients well. Pour into clean bottles or jars, seal, and store in the refrigerator.
Let sit in the refrigerator for 2 days before using to allow flavors to develop. Shake well before serving.

• 2 eggs, well beaten
• 2 cups milk or 1/2 and 1/2
• Heat milk and eggs until very hot (DO NOT BOIL! unless you want your Irish cream scrambled). Strain the mixture (you may need to do this more than once depending on how fine your strainer is) and cool. (I heated to 200 degrees, which was TOO much. Next time I'm pulling off the stove at 180 degrees).
• Add 1 tsp. of Vanilla
• Add 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk.
• Add 2 tbsp. Hershey's syrup
• Add 1tsp. coconut or almond extract (I used almond extract).
• Add 1 1/2 cups bourbon whiskey
• Mix well and refrigerate (or pour a little on ice to give it a "quality check")

1 cup heavy cream
2 tbsp chocolate syrup
2 tbsp freshly brewed coffee
½ tsp ground cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp coconut extract

In terms of sugar content and fat, those recipes seem too rich for my taste. Just give me the bourbon straight
