chocolate chip cookies (when they first come out of the oven and the choc. chips are all "melty"...also oatmeal-raisin and peanuut butter cookies!...all are good, but wish I had more time to do some yeast pastries like my mom used to do....gawd, they were so good!

Do you lessen the sugar or put as much sugar as pound cake calls for? I know pound cake requires lots of butter and lots of sugar!
One thing I love about baking is that I can lessen the sugar to where I see fit. Most cakes call for like 1-2 cup sugar which I think is ridiculous.
