After Thanksgiving, mi nah cook a blastid ting.

me and di current mr ilp juss discuss daht wi gwine tun Jew fi xmas day...so is breakfast in bed, movie theater, and chinese carryout wi gwine do.

lORKS! Mi mout a run wata....
We will be starting with smoked salmon and melon with a very cold Prosecco.
We will then be devouring a rib roast, ham, curried goat (if mi find me cousin fram birmingham) and a goose.
To be served with brussel sprouts, rice and gungo peas, red cabbage,roasted butternut squash and sweet potato.
Washed down with some good red Italian wine.
Christmas pudding with rum sauce, and sticky toffee pudding with a chilled bottle of muscat, followed by blue mountain coffee, or a shot of Appleton.

This is the only time of the year I like to cook for other peopl

I am finishing the appetizers tonight and freezing them til the Day. And most of the desserts and main course side dishes and done too. Just have the meat to deal with on Christmas day - and the rice n peas which my mom makes.

We finally came up with a menu...yesterday in church.

Southern Fried Chicken
Mac and Cheese
Collard Greens wid some kind of smoke meat
Mash potato
Me tinking fi mek plain rice...or maybe boil green banana fi go wid di goat.
