This is one of my favorites

-Bake 1.5 lbs sweet potatoes until soft, about an hour...cool, peel and process in a food mill or processor...you should end up with about 2 cups of potato...

-in a large heavy pot, saute 2 tbs minced shallot/onion in some butter

-add the potatoes and 2 cups pumpkin puree, stir, then alternately add 8 cups chicken broth and 1 cup peanut butter..stir after each addition until smooth...simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally

-stir in 2 tsp coarse mustard (but any brown mustard will work), half tsp nutmeg...salt and pepper to taste

-eat

yeah try this one nunya. my favrite soup (odda dan yard soups) was always a toss up betweem this one and one southwestern one

had some on friday and dem still tie

greens (make up your own mind)
chicken stock (secret weapon
nuff cayenne pepper
thyme
