I was taught to do this in Jamaica...saves throwing out all the peelings &amp; creates a very refreshing drink!!

This will work with the pine from Jamaica ... not so sure bout the farrin pine as I was told they have that wax or whatever it is coating.

The wax coating is actually nontoxic,and will acyually gfloat on the water.
the hot water will melt it and it will rise to the top and harden when it cools.
