this is true. they do have an abundance of them type things in the circulars.
but coupons for other things can be found.

yuh nah guh do as well as the lady who pay 10cents if yuh 100% brand loyal

yuh haffi buy wah pan sale and yuh haffi try use double coupon days

oh yes she also seh dat certain tings rotate when dem deh pan sale

eg. the meat yuh like will deh pan sale every other week and so on

CB the cycle works the same way clothing does (sort of).

January - Produce, "Low Fat/Health Food", Vitamins, Canned Soups, Light, Reduced Fat things....that's for all the New Years Folks
February- Strawberries, Chocolates, Steaks (Valentines Day). Also...Chips, Chicken, Ground Meats, Beans (dry & canned), tomato products for Superbowl. Fresh and Canned nuts.
March- Celery, Carrots, Corned Beef, Beer (St. Patricks)
also depending on when Lenting Season begins...you will begin to see better prices on Fish.
April- Again NBA, NCAA Championships...so again party food will be on sale, similar to what was on sale during Superbowl.
May - Hotdogs, Deli, Bakery, Meat Dept begins it reduced prices...It is warmer outside and first big grill holiday (Memorial Day) arrives.
August - Peanut Butter, Portable Yogurts, Sandwich Bags, Mini carrots, Oatmeal (in those idiot flavors), etc. Hand sanitizer... school is beginning again.

Also...a grocery ad cycle runs about every 4-6 weeks. So (lets do yogurt)...Dannon will run week #1, Yoplait week #2, Chabani week #3, the store brand week #4, Stoneycreek Farm week #5. Then the cycle runs again.

My grocery run double coupons, everyday. period...as long as the coupon is under 50 cents. So sale price, plus coupon x2...equals a nice savings.

Well Yuri yuh nah goh like wey mi havi sey pan dis tapic cause I dont buy nutten unless mi have a coupon for it.

And YES that includes process food.. its reality .. a noh everyting and everytime things can be bought "fresh" and in the "plant form.

There are even clothing stores that I stick with because of the coupon offers..like mi sey ..call mi Coupon Queen but I do use them <span style="text-decoration: underline">EVERYTIME</span> I go shopping and save a lot. Shopping for me is planned and yes planned based on the sales and the coupons I have. I see the before and after totals and it's enough savings for me to keep it up.

It so bad that I had a choice to sign up with BJs wholesale or Cosco and although BJs is further from my home ..I chose them. Why? Simple ..they accept Manf. coupons and Cosco does not.

i do understand what you are saying...that it seems like is the unhealthy, processed things is only wah dem provide coupons for. My premise that while it may "seem" that way...it isnt true.

I eat fresh, homemade, right off the farm, in season things. However, mi mi not buying it unless mi have coupon, it in season, or it on sale.

Yes, it does take a lot of work. But as mi see how much tings cost ahn mi not rich...mi juss haffi do di work to save di money.

Wendy – what I’m saying is this – I know that coupons save – trust me. I believe this.

But when you see Wifey walking up to the register with an overflowing cart and the tab totals only $2.00 or $.87 from all the coupons, the overwhelmingly vast majority of that stuff in that cart is crap.

Chips
Dips
Pop
Baloney
Pop tarts
Captain Crunch

On & on & on.

It’s a farce.

True savings (for me anyway) would be if there were coupons for REAL food – real food!

(I’m talking coupons from online and from the newspaper here.)

And yes, I do shop all different ways - I'm not brand loyal, various stores, the Costcos, my regular stores blah blah blah.

Not matter which way you cut it, I've never met anyone who comes out with a $2 bill by using coupons, unless they're buying crap.

Lets be real Yuri ..C'mon. It is manufaturers that offer coupons for the most part they DO NOT manufature fresh tomatoes, apples, squash, green peppers, Onions, egg plant, cabbage, lettuce etc. So let's not pretend you will ever get coupons for fresh produce.

I only use turkey bacon and I have used coupon for them (butterball, oscar mayer and shadybrook offer coupons). Granted not everything that is in my cart is accompanied by a coupon ..it's unreasonable to think that the farm in Florida is going send out coupons for their oranges

Food wise <span style="font-size: 8pt">(because yes, there’s some decent ones for cleaning products)</span> most of the coupons are undeniably, for fake food. What the heck kinda savings is that?

I feel and hate that, they try and make people believe they’re getting some fabulous savings by giving them $1 off a box of chocolate chip cookies.

And on another note - even the cleaning products matter is debatable. I find there's not too much some vinegar and water can't take care of so giving me $.75 off a bottle of windex or pledge ain't cuttin' it.

i feed 5 people and it is easy a $250 bill every other week for all the groceries. I must admit I am not too good on sales but I do get a lot at Costco where I find the bulk items do result in savings eg $7.99 for 3 containers of organic milk vs $3.99 for 1 container at the supermarket

Two thursday's ago mi get 3 bottles of Heinz white distilled venigar for $6 (sales price). Mi had a 50 cent coupon for each other them. Giant double each of the coupon. So mi end up paying $1 for each of the bottles.
