Do you eat breakfast?

Growing up we rarely had breakfast except on the weekends. I can say with complete certainty that M - F, nothing got cooked. If I was hungry before school, I could eat cereal or boil some water to make instant oatmeal or put some bread in the toaster.

It turns out many moons later that I have decided that I like breakfast. Not as soon as I wake up but I am ready to eat after a couple of hours.

Do you eat breakfast? If you have children, do you cook them breakfast?

During the week no.

They have cereal or they can make some toast with peanut butter and/or jelly with a glass of juice

dem scorn oatmeal now the weather has warmed up

Weekends I make them eggs or french toast or pancakes.. but that is more like brunch by the time dem eat

I'll grab something during the week, sometimes.=No breakfast on the weekends. I sleep in on Saturdays and fast on Sundays.

Living in Jamaica, I used to skip breakfast M-F but it was a certainty on weekends. Living in the US, I have breakfast every morning. Nowadays I cannot leave my house without a mug of coffee, bowl of cereal and boiled egg.

Just to add that M-F I have lunch... fruits and yogurt.

I do not cook or do dinner M-F. Dinner is skipped as I'm usually filled from breakfast and lunch.

On weekends (mainly Sunday) I'll do breakfast and dinner. Saturdays it is a mug of coffee and that'll hold me for the rest of the day. Dinner is an option on Saturdays.

I never do lunch on weekends.

when i am eating right i eat oatmeal or something healthy for breakfast M-F and dont usually have anything on the weekends. my babies eat breakfast at school/daycare M-F and Saturday they have cereal or something and Sundays they have a nice breakfast before church

Yeah, my mom would make pancakes on some Saturdays.

I feel your kids on the oatmeal. It has taken a number of years for me to even try to screw with it again, but it definitely has to be cold outside.

Lunch is my favorite meal. I wish it were dinner, but it is not.

Fruit and yogurt huh? You clearly not having a problem with the swimsuit thread lol. As long as it's cold outside, I like hot food. I only feel like eating lighter and drinking tons of liquid when it's hot outside.

A bit of history about my name in your breakfast thread...since you asked. It was originally Comprygirl going way back based on the nickname of the high school I attended in Jamaica. Then I grew up a bit so I dropped the girl. Later, Geneva made a typo in a post by added the &quot;a&quot;. I liked it because it reflects who I am so I changed it from Compry to Compray.

yes ma'am! pancakes, bacon, and eggs...sometimes with hash browns. they dont really like sausage. sometimes they have french toast but they LOVE pancakes. in the winter i can get them to eat cream of wheat or oatmeal...they dont really like grits.

Alright, I cannot say that is not ample. You had a journey.

So now you come even more extra and say you don't eat two days a week? I guess you must surely be used to it, but you don't ever feel the urge to buss out withe some fried fish or something on your eating days. If you are vegetarian, then a fried tomato but you get my point, right?

what the favorite around here is bluberry or strawberry pancakes definitely a sunday thing .. and breakfast pon sunday is bout 11 as we all sleep in unless boykia have fencing competition
