SandiF That waterfall is in St. Thomas - it's called Reggae Falls.
and I know that adventure made the essay list for the kids when they had to write an essay of what they did this summer... (memba those days - my essays would always be about climbing trees, and romping with the dogs )

So first night at the hotel - we only have time to put our stuff in the room and head down for dinner... we were not disappointed as they had a nice selection of jamaican food

After dinner we decided to go watch the show and I took some videos of the steel band which was OUTSTANDING - their music was fresh and different and young and they were very talented... I also took videos of the guy playing with fire but I can't seem to find them maybe I accidentally deleted them \o/

Anyway - Dan signed me up for a game so I found myself on stage \o/

first it was 8 ladies and they asked us how many bananas we could eat... some ladies said 5 an 3 etc. - mi say half
so they blindfolded us and then they remove the blinfolds of everyone except the lady that said she could eat 5... then they fed her bananas and pretened that she was in competition with other people - I felt bad for her when she took off the blindfold and found out she had scarfed down 3.5 bananas all by herself - but lawks I did laugh till I was weak!!!

Then they had had 8 guys join us on stage and we had to dance then when they said switch we had to find another partner and then when the music stopped a guy ha to lift a girl - or as dem say if you were a big girl you had to lift a guy

Well the first time the music stopped... the biggest lady on stage launched herself at the smallest guy - well u can imagine what happened next... YUP he dropped her BOOF! an den him jus run an jump off the stage and pretend dat it wasn't him - mi say laughing SPWILE!

Eventually it was just down to me and another lady and they gave us both the prize - I won a nice wooden carving. it pays to be likkle sometimes!
But I had to warn Dan not to enter me in any more contests!

We were a little late for breakfast the following day - so I snagged some saltfish rundung, Callaloo - but the boiled bananas and yam were all done
