Lord e_p, that's an all out feast you're planning. Where do you live again?

I only have a few people coming this year so this is what I'm cooking:

Cheese, fruit, and crackers tray with wine and grape juice
Roasted cajun turkey breast
Smothered garlic chicken drumsticks
Dressing
Wild rice pilaf
Steamed asparagus with hollandaise sauce
Braised brussels sprouts
Ginger buttered carrots
Corn Casserole
Yeast rolls
Sangria and Iced Tea

For the first time ever, no collard greens or macaroni and cheese. I'll decide about dessert tomorrow but it's looking like ice cream and apple pie.


Edit: I guess I'll make the string bean casserole so I can have a veggie that reheats well. It's really easy to make too.

I was thinking about getting one of those pumpkin pies at Stop & Shop.....but it doesn't make sense...cause my family are so into Jamaican food that they refuse to try new stuff...\o/..... Only my niece will eat it......*sigh*

Lawks tulip the smothered garlic chicken drumsticks sounds divine.... As a matter a fact the entire menu sell off Enjoy....

We usually host TG every year. I wanted to cater for 15 people, however, my mom and my sis have been receiving calls all week....so now the number has increased to 23....I am happy that we can share the little that we have others......

it is a rice dish popular in west african countries. their equivalent to saturday soup. they dash in alla what them have left over in the pot wid some rice and cook it down (not really as simple as I explained, but...)

it usally have stew beef, chicken, sometimes pork, carrots, onions, green peppers, corn..them add in curry, corriander, ahn them things...


when the broth cook out then... you eat it
