PZ's Recipe

1 big bag of fresh pre-washed, chopped kale
1 smoked turkey wing
1 tablespoon cider vinegar (optional)
1/4 cup water

Put all of above in slow cooker. Turn on low. Go to work. Come home. Enjoy.

Note: Other greens such as Turnip, Collard, Mustard will work.

i think is the texture of the collards i don't like too. I don't really like callaloo when it cook and limp and &quot;soffy soffy&quot; either

ok...i def made up my mind that if i trying it is the baking method i doing

CeaBee if I cook collards for you, you will lick your fingers. When you come visit me I make some for your.

Another way I do collard greens - and callalloo:

Cut up greens very very finely
Chop up onion very finely
Crushed garlic.
Little olive oil

Heat olive oil in wok. Saute onion and garlic. Add greens and saute quickly until dark green. Do not overcook. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Yup. I don't like my leafy greens plaka plaka and oozing liquid and dem yah breed a greens look like dem only palatable if dem cook inna pressha cooker

Now see that sounds good too.

When I'm doing the stir fry method, I definitely agree that you only want them to get dark green.

There's a fine line. If you cross it then they are too tough to enjoy unless you cook them longer which makes it a totally different dish and have to add some liquid and steam them.

ooh I love me some kale!!! when u eat that, u feel full. ANd it nuh take no whole heap a time to cook- bout same time like ilaloo. No bitterness to it either- a who a spread propaganda pan kale

Ochigal- wattup!!! I saw taht kale chip recipe in a mag- Tyler whosiwatsy has the recipe in his book. cant memba wat mag it is now, bu him did ddeh at a farmers market shopping, and pulling his cute lil baby in a wheel barrow.
