Just a brief note on the creamy garlic dressing I posted;
It was intended for a green salad using a variety of Boston or Cob lettuce which are very light and sweet varieties .
If you're going to use this dressing on salads with cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and or onions you should increase the amount of vinegar to taste so that the stronger flavors of those vegetables do not overwhelm the dressing.
You can drizzle vinegar over your already dressed salad until it's where you want it or up the vinegar in recipe if a mixed vegetable salad is what you usually have.
