Funny you should ask this question,there is such a girl that used to be in my life,I have always wondered what became of her,she came to see me about 10 years ago but when she found out I was married she has never come back but I dont know if she`s even still in the country.

I would love to sit down with her and have a chat and reminisce over the old days,things just seem so unresolved between us.

I dont know,and I certainly dont want to sleep with her again, Dahjah`s response above is maybe how we should view the issue,whats done is done and it didnt work out for a reason,...I now have a lovely family and that is obviously how things were meant to be.

mi nuh reminise.. Just once in a PINK moon mi will wonder if she did reach the goal of becoming a doctor as set by her parents.

mi had a bredren.. well nah a bredren, an aquaintance..we went to the same primary school and the same high scool at the same time, but we didnt really become bredrens untill years after graduating HS. And the the only reasy was that him worked at a popular Car parts place pon Pigley Park RD, and mi buk him deh wan day a buy part fi one of mi many ole cars.
Suhmi nuh memba but him was a chacha bwoy, half coolie, and nuff gal, suh him a tell mi bout this girl him like from primary school days and how she grow up nice and how him want mi fallow him guh chck har wan day.
Suh mi nuh memba how, but mi and him guh check har..
Uptown girl.. Pretty like money.
She did browning, and shamefully in retrospec, di mi did like di browning back inna dem days (neva know nuh betta)
Ayhow, mi and har tun friend tru HIM. Him loved her, but it was not returned. Mi just deh deh as a wing man more time and some reason she would waan reason wid mi.
She was VERY cerebral.
Months pass (wasnt a loong time) and mi and har start get inna things.
A thing she use to tell her parents she going to visit a girlfried inna ptmore, and would end up a mi yard.
So wi would just chill inn a mi likke 8x9 bedroom.
Sometimes she would come watcch mi play scrimmage wid mi bredren drem.
She was a fun girl.
Anyhow.. wan sunda wi a hang out inna mi room, and mi nuh know, mussi mi madda fry chicken and rice and peas did drunk har, but wi end up a doogu dooguh.
The secret relationship start.
Mi honestly neva feel nuh way inforont a di hombre cause him was a punk.

The cool thing was many of the girls on her block came to know of the relationship.
Was one of those princess and di rebel kinda thing.
Her parents thought their little angel was at UWI studiously working towards a medical degree.. No distractions. Dem had her life all planned out for her. Even who she was supposed to marry. This other nerd who on the male dorm who had this obsessive unrequiet love fi har.
Dat girl did really love mi doe (or suh she did think). Memba she did grow up pwoil. Couldnt cook fi save her life.
She found out (from me always talking bout it) she mi love stew peas and rice.
Memba wan saturday mi guh deh. She a ack all nervous. Mi look inna har likke dorm pon har likkle makeshift kitchen... a pot a Stew Peas and rice!
It neva taste good atall, but mi pretended that it was the best stew peas mi ever ate.
Time pass and mi realize wi did hafi trod different roads.
Her social friends wasnt my speed, and mi did kinda tyad a she tryoing fi meck mi feel guilty fi always spending time with my bredren dem.
See we use to play soccer every friday evening pon cliveden rd. just dun from Blus cross pon hope rd (or a old hope rd). But she wanted mi fi spend mi fridays wid har. Suh mi would paly ball fi a few, leff mi bredren dem early (when ball game JUST a get nice, cause by now every man DRUNK and ball game sweet) beat it guh uppa UWI and we drive guh up Papine, or up Skyline drive or uppa Queenhill or somewhey.
But afta awile, mi start spend more time wid mi bredrn dem. Plus mi x did just have a youth fimi, so mi would guh pick him up fi di weekend.
She did start get possesive suh mi call di whole thing quits...
Mi also memba she would tell mi stuff bout whey dem a duh a UWI wid Ouijie board and a tell me bout astral projection.. Den she use to hang out wid some a di DJ bwoy dem from up town (like red rad, goofy and di wan whey did sing granny) and tell mi bout a day inna di studio fi meck mi jealous.
Anyway mi call it quits.. It was a scarry breakup still.. she pop out wan erring otta har ears whey mi did buy har, a mean rip it out busting the skin..Funny mi nuh memba much blood, but mi foot weak just a memba.
Mi wander bout har once in a blue moon still. My guess she somewhere out deh saving lives.. i would hope.
