if two ppl are activitely involved in raising a child properly, it is nothing like gambling. <span style="font-weight: bold">Yes, anything is possible </span>but if u are a good parent your chances of having a well-adjusted child is a lot higher than those who arent. you have more control over that than rolling a set of dice. If this was the case then kids dont need parents or anyone else to raise them and help instill values and provide opportunities for them, etc.

ppl dont want to admit that it is your mind set as a parent that affects many things. If u dont want to be a parent then u shouldnt be one. Simple as that. but to say others are gambling with screwing up their kids lives no matter what they do is out of whack, IMO.

The baby is fine thanks for asking. I love being a mother but I can say in a heartbeat that it is tough work, especially if you are doing it alone. I can relate to single mothers because her dad works away from home most of the week so I am the primary caregiver. However, I enjoy watching her grow right in front of my eyes and for the most part she seems to be very happy and settled, which makes me even happier!

No one is saying that this one or that one is screwing with anything. I know you don't live in a bubble, a child can have everything in this world. He or she for whatever reason turns around and kills mom or dad. Take a good look around you, some of these kids are acting as if it's their right to have this or that no matter if the funds are there or not. Yes life is a gamble, you win at times as well as you lose. You have to look at all angles before you get into a situation, once the baby is here you just can't send him or her back. You're dillusional if you think you have control over life, life has a way to show you just who is and who isn't in control over anything. Yes there are some good kids out here as well people should thank God that they have them.

And another thing, it doesn't take two people to be a good parents. What does that say for the single mothers and fathers out here raising kids on their own?

One can do an excellent job of parenting but sure as hell say it easier with 2 from my experience.

I think it takes a support network period. My mother raised me alone and I never felt or feel like I was lacking anything in my upbringing.
