As I said in the other thread Tropicana,you can hardly blame black men for dating out their race when we have a great proportion of black women looking down their noses at black men who doesnt live up to *their* high ideals.
Its not black women that are being disrespected by black men,...in my opinion its the black man that is being disrespected by black women.
There seems to be a lot of hypocrisy too on this issue,..there are some black women who are too ready to condemn a black man for dating a white woman,....yet still complain that *they* are being overlooked by white men because of their colour.

At the end of the day it doesnt matter who marry who,people are free to choose who they date or marry,its their business and no one else`s regardless of what colour they are,......they shouldnt have to feel that they owe anyone anything,or justify their choice,.......thats the way I see it.

I dont see anything in my posts that says black women are this or black women are that,.......look,..even on this very board to read some of the posts you would think the black man was the devil incarnate.

I stand by my above statements,..its my opinion,and I stick by it.

this is a blanket statement about what black women are like.

like I said, date and/or marry whomever you like, just dont sell out black women to do so. As for what is said on the board, I am not sure what you are referring to but you dont see me making any such statements that you are implying.

Dont paint everyone with the same brush. If I date a non-black man, I dont need to say, &quot;most black men are no good, uneducated, trilfing idiots, blah blah, blah&quot; to do so.

I am very happy for you TLC,.....however,who I marry or chose to date is my business,and no one else`s...I dont owe anyone anything,..furthermore,regardless of the colour of my wife my opinion on the issue is still valid.

I guess it is a good thing that I dont let what some of the comments I see Jamaican men say on this board represent what I think of black men as a whole. Thank God I have better examples in my own family to cure me of that kind of low-brow thinking.
