We've been friends for over a year. He has asked me out many times, I have done the same with him. What was new is he did not return my call at the time I was expecting it. Like I said, maybe I overeacted andd to what one poster said &quot;nuh watch nuh face&quot;

I am curious, none of you ladies have not initiated a date with a male friend? Do you always leave it up to the man to make all the moves?

Thursday I asked a friend of mine what he is doing for the weekend, I went on to say that I wouldn't mind spending part of the weekend with him. Friday evening I called and left him voice mail to say that I found my cellphone and I'll be in and out Friday evening, so call me on my cell. I got no call from him Friday. Ok, no problem I thought. Saturday all day he did not call. We do not live far apart and on one of my errands I was right in his neighbourhood, so I thought, I'd swing by his house. His car wasn't there. On my way out, I saw his car heading to his house. So I thought, well, I'll just go home and call him. Got home within 10 min and tried his number and it went straight to voicemail. I left a message. It is Saturday night and I still have not heard from him. I just don't know. I don't understand. We have been talking all week, no problem.

I'm wondering if I should've just went by his house and knocked on his door and take it from there and not sit and wait for him to call. BUT he said he would call me, and he also said my company would be welcome for the weekend. I just know that I am upset and looking for opinions. In the past if I call and he missed my call, he would acknowledge it. He obviously got my voice messages but he did not return my calls. </div></div>

From my own personal experience, I've found that MANY people will tell you what you want to hear, whether it be truth or not......if he didn't call, he is not interested. I would let sleeping dawgs lie!

I am sure many ladies on here have initiated dates w/ a male friend. If he is a friend w/ bennies then just call and ask for a piece. It was the repeated calls and drive-by that make you seem stalkerish and I think people were responding to that.
