Yes we women may not have to deal with police an dem ting deh but in the work place we have to be twice as good as the others in order to be treated as close to equal an fight twice as hard to get half as much. Of course some of that hostility will come in to the home.

so instead of running to the more compliant/complacent woman unno fi learn to deal wid us as an equal.

I doan know dahjah - my thoughts are if he was a good man he would step up and be there for his child money or not. Cause a child wants their parents love and not only what they can buy. A dad can do a whole lot to help a child when he is not working - the sah parents day is always full of child centered things

It's true, black men have pressure but so do black women. It's just a difference in the types of pressure for a man/woman. Yes the blk man is harshly treated by the police in some cases, their job etc... the woman also has challenges and pressure, supporting the family, children, bills and maintaining their jobs as well as their husband/man. My thought is it's pressure upon both sides and how the both of dem as a couple support each other with/through the pressures of life. The blk man also have the weight of finance and their wife/girlfriend. But in some cases when the relationship is over the woman usually has the pickney and can't just up and leave. Some men will support their family and pickneys to the end and some do not unfortunately so if it's the mother/father leff in that situation it's pure pressure
